The Dame Malvina Major Foundation presents a delightful concert featuring young talented artists who are now emerging in the performing arts

This concert is the brainchild of 19 year old Tasman Davids, ballet dancer, who is featured on our poster and a recipient of a Dame Malvina Major Foundation Arts Excellence Award. Tasman will dance the pas de deux from 'Sleeping Beauty' withKatie Hurst-Saxton as well as a crowd pleaser before leaving for Russia to study at the Vaganova Ballet Academy. He is the first New Zealander to be accepted.

Pianist Tony Lin returns from Freiberg, Germany where he is studying and Rachelle Pike, mezzo-soprano, is home from her studies at The Manhattan School of Music in New York.

All of the young people featured in this concert want to raise money to help rebuild Christchurch. Dame Malvina Major will be joined by a chorus of young singers to close the evening.

We look forward to your company.
